Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing team and support the day-to-day delivery of HR services for a portfolio of client organizations. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who wants to work across multiple industries, build a broad foundation, and develop quickly in a fast-paced, consulting-style environment.
You will work closely with senior HR Business Partners and fractional CHROs, contributing to everything from compliance and onboarding to employee relations and HRIS administration. No two days look the same at Humanli.

- Maintain and update HRIS data with accuracy and timeliness (experience with HRWize or similar platforms is a plus)
- Administer employee self-service portals and respond to routine HR inquiries
- Support payroll coordination and benefits administration in partnership with third-party providers
- Ensure HR documentation (offer letters, policies, agreements) is current and compliant with applicable provincial and federal regulations
Talent & Recruitment Support
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment for select client roles: posting, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication
- Support onboarding experience design and new-hire integration programs
Employee Relations & Culture
- Act as a first point of contact for employee questions and escalate matters appropriately
- Support engagement surveys, recognition programs, and culture initiatives
- Help coordinate manager and employee training sessions
Compliance & Reporting
- Monitor compliance requirements across client organizations (Quebec and other provinces)
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and metrics for client presentations
- Assist with HR audits and policy reviews
What We’re Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR role or studying in same field.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Quebec and/or Canadian employment standards
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Nice to Have
- CPHR designation (completed or in progress)
- Bilingual — English and French (a meaningful asset in Montreal)
- Experience with HRIS platforms (HRWize, Dayforce, BambooHR, or similar)
- Exposure to a multi-client, consulting, or fractional HR environment
- Familiarity with HR technology, automation tools, or people analytics
- Comfortable juggling multiple client priorities simultaneously
